New Designs!

Gosh, its been awhile since I have posted on here. It seems that daily life has gotten the better of me as I have been busier with the girls, bows, my personal blog, Easter, visitors, and oh yeah, being pregnant.

Yessiree. I suppose my husband and I thought life was just getting too simple, so we decided to add baby #3 to The Bowtique household. Which would also explain my lack of blogging and updating the site.
But the first trimester is over and I slowly seem to be gaining an ounce or two of energy back, so I will do my best to update the blog a little more often.

But until then, here's what you really want...some pictures of the new clips.
As you can see, I have been on a bit of a Felt Fuzzy kick. I am slowly re-designing some old styles (like the ladybug) to give them a fresher new look.

Mark your calender- we're taking a break!!

I know, I know I am waaaay behind on the blogging. Truth be told, I have been much busier with bows than I anticipated.
Well that and I have much more on my plate than usual (and that will be clearer to you in a few weeks).
For the past few weeks, I have made alot of bows and clips for a local organization for charity. I am finally finished with that, so now I can focus solely on my current orders again!
Well, current orders and trying to get some new re-designs up.
Yes, its true I have mentioned this before, but they are underway.
A new tiara clip and a couple new spring and easter bows, as well as the first headband to feature some felt pieces. (my 5 year old was the inspiration for this one)

However, right now its important for me to step back and take a breather. I know its time to take a break when I start mess up orders. So to ensure my customers receive my best work and I gain a bit of sanity and some much needed family time, I will be closing The Bowtique from

March 14th - March 22nd
(give or take a few days)

This will still give those who need Easter bows a window of opportunity to get some bows when I return in time for Easter.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Yes, we are still here. I have been much busier than expected for this time of year, which explains my lack of posting!
But rest assured, I am working on some new spring bows and clips.
Coming soon will be some new adorabley sweet bunny ribbon and a pretty spring creamsicle and pink polka dot ribbon.
I have also decided to redesign a few clips. There will soon be a new monkey, plus a few other felt additions that have been in the works for waaaaay too long. I just seem to lack to time to get these new products on the website.

Also just a quick note that I will be taking a break and closing The Bowtique for a week or two towards the end of March. I will post the exact dates as we get closer.

New Super cool adjustable snug headbands are here!

Oh yeah!
Our new super cool adjustable snug headbands are here. But we are just going to call them adjustable headbands for short.
They are so simple, they're brilliant and they stay in so well, you'll wonder why we didn't come up with this sooner!

Our solid color toggle headbands go with everything. They are simple enough for everyday and pretty enough for special occasions. They are made with 5/8 grosgrain ribbon and feature a simpley sweet tuxedo bow.
They can be adjusted to a snug fit using our unique toggle clasp. Very popular with girls of all ages! (just ask a couple of MY friends!)



We will also be adding additional prints soon...but for now you can request almost any print ribbon we have in stock!

New Designs!

New Year, new designs!
I seem to be a little on the slower side of things this year...and its only been 10 days into 2009! But here are a few of the new designs to be added whenever I get a spare minute! (hardy har, like I ever get a spare minute). I have been working on a large donation order for an upcoming fund raiser, so things are still pretty hectic around here!
But I will do my best to add new items the next few weeks.

But my new favorite is the rainbow clip. Inspired by a customer that wanted a rainbow, I decided this one was too cute not to share.
