Falling for Fall!

Are you one of those pumpkin spice-a-holics?

I am.
I'd like to think that I love the cooler weather, but I think I just like all the heavier fall foods.
And the pumpkin spice recipes. Yum.

With fall-ish weather finally here (in the Mid-West),
I have finally added some new items for fall as I have been inspired by the season.
(a miracle, I know)

What could be more perfect for Fall than our new Wool Felt Mums?
Available in a special autumn color assortment or any one of our other colors!

Speaking of Fall colors- we also have a limited set of fall color in the crazy popular trend
that is elastic hair ties!  Great in ponytails or even just as bracelets.

Nothing says Fall like showing your football spirit!
Now you can take your team colors and twirl them together to make your very own felt flower.
Great for showing your team spirit!
(we are obviously Big Buckeye fans, but I am willing to make some other team colors too!)

We also finally added a new hair bow holder!  Our adorable Hot Air Balloon Holder comes in various colors and over 3 feet of ribbon to hang your clips!
Plus, it's just adorable hanging on a wall!

Due to very popular demand, I have added some new elastic hair ties with some cool prints. These are  a daily favorite here at our house!  Be sure to keep an eye open for all the new sets coming before the holidays!

Our solid Shabby Roses have been so popular, we just had to add some funky prints too!
Available in a variety of colors from pinks, to blues to purples to a lovely autumn mix.
Available on clips and headbands for both big and little girls!

Just a few newer items to keep you up on the latest hair trends!
Happy Fall!

Happy Christmas in July!!

I know, I know...
Christmas in July??

I refuse to think about the "s" word when we are still enjoying the lazy days of summer.
In fact, I think all these "Back to School" sales kind of ruin the whole lazy days of sun, pools and sleeping ins.

So, for those that are really on the ball about being prepared,
I decided a "Christmas in July" sale would do the trick.
Because ironically, even though I refuse to acknowledge we are
3 weeks away from the s-word, I have already bought and stashed some of my Santa gifts!
(it's a sickness, I know)

So, from now through July 25th, enjoy 20% off your total order with the code:
SAVE20

Psst, and spread the word. I am so close to 1000 fans on our Facebook page.
Once we reach 1000, I will hold a nice little giveaway to show my appreciation for the support!
(and besides, it's starting to get personal)

We are on Vacation!

It's been a couple years, but after the very cold, very snowy, very long winter,
we decided to take the Bowtique family somewhere warm and sunny for vacation!
Unfortunately for you, this means I will not be taking any bows with me.
Just some flip flops and a good book.

The website will remain open to browse and check out items.
Heck, you can even place an order
BUT,
orders will not be processed until after our return April 5th.
It could also be a few days processing after April 5th as I will process the orders in the order they are placed.  But fear not- there will still be plenty of time to receive your order sin time for Easter!

We will probably also have a little celebration to honor the new website design!! Yay!

Thanks for understanding!  I look forward to bringing some new designs! (finally)

If you have a young daughter or younger child for that matter, you have probably heard of the movie Frozen.
If you live in North America, you probably even experienced your own Frozen this past winter with unusually high amounts of snow days and freezing temperatures.

So- inspired by my daughter's love of this movie and a reason to think of something new-
we have Frozen inspired Anna and Elsa clips.

They were not supposed to be a big hit, but when a friend caught a glimpse of the clips I made,
she told me to make a few more sets.
So I did.
Because of all the special requests, I decided to take them to the website.
I am not sure how long I will offer these clips, but they are up on the website for now.
You can even buy the set of both Anna and Elsa and save a bit.

Or you can head over to my dear friend Brett's blog- This Mama Loves
and enter to win one of the two sets I am going to be giving away!
(Entries accepted until April 5th!)

10 Years.

This Girl.
10 years.

10 years ago, she arrived and inspired this whole Bowtique journey
through her crazy, fluffy dark hair!
We have grown from a few small bows to collections of clips, headbands, hair ties
and whatever this growing girl could dream of!
(she is single handedly responsible for some of my favorite ideas- like the jellyfish,
the popsicle and the Kanzashi flower)
I am finally accepting that she will in fact keep growing.
She will most likely be taller than I am within the next couple years...
My only solace is that she will continue to shine and grow into the
awesome little lady that she is becoming today.
And that has been my pleasure in being her Mom.
(that and the fact that she still stops for a hug at the bus stop)

So, in honor of the tiny fluffy haired baby that started this creative whim,
enjoy 20% off your total the next while with the code:
HAPPY20
*And a quick note that The Bowtique will be closing in a week or so for a short while
so we update our website and bring you a new look!
